Senior Logistics Program Manager. Global. JOB PURPOSE: Our client are a leading Medical Device located in the Midlands. The role entails managing Strategic L&D Program activities with a focus on ensuring Customer Delivery while adhering to the key performance indicators of People, Improvement Quality, Service and Value. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Includes the following, other duties may be assigned. Responsible for managing and implementing Strategic Programs for operations as assigned with input from key business stakeholders. Manage the coordination, implementation and maintenance of all L&D Strategic Project plans including Transfers, Integration Activity, Transactional VSM, cost per unit. Service alignment across the supply chain, process refinement etc. Work with stakeholders including commercial stakeholders to analyse customer needs and convert these into concrete project proposals. Support the overall program status in relationship to approved target dates, financial indicators and future spending projections. Assure that the necessary program documentation, financial documentation and validation documentation is generated according to the different corporate procedures. Report regularly to Global Operations and key stakeholders on key performance indicators such as PIQSV for the Strategic Programs via a defined robust Governance process. Liaise with all elements of the supply chain as necessary. Support the creation of a broad, deep and aggressive agenda of initiatives which, taken together, represent the totality of the company's program of continuous improvement in PIQSV, and assist in the development of appropriate action plans for the accomplishment of this agenda. Ensure the development of measurable, meaningful, motivational metrics to measure the PIQSV and all strategic projects across Global Operations. Counsel with all stakeholders in the annual process of goal setting, and help to ensure the professional development planning professionals in the company. Experience in the medical device industry and other sectors with at least five years in a management position in operations, CI or project management role. Project Management Professional and Six Sigma Qualification desirable. Customer Delivery Focused experience essential. International experience working cross borders and cross function. Experience in leading change projects throughout a wide function/ region. Strong knowledge of Order to Cash and various market channel business models. Strong knowledge of the Purchase, Plan, Made, Deliver activities within an ERP platform. Strong knowledge of SIOP processes. Attention to detail and accuracy - essential. Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure. Problem solving skills for developing creative solutions are required. Excellent analytical ability. Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing, to a widely varied audience. Good business acumen. Senior Logistics and Distribution Program Manager. Global.
