Description

Role: To support the Head of HR, implement a Human Resources Information on site with particular emphasis on preparing, verifying, uploading, maintaining and updating employee data for the HR information system. Support the Head of HR on the delivery of the HR System to include process and quality management. Verify employee information is accurate and up to date with the technological aspects of recordkeeping, database management, and monitoring employee files and records. Assist in the development, building, testing, and implementation of human resources databases and tools, whilst ensuring data input of employee information onto HR database system is accurate and up to date. Develop HR systems to support the production of organisation charts and contribute to, develop and maintain systems and permissions architecture as defined by the Head of HR. Carry out system administration activities – e.g. system maintenance, system testing, system/data checks fault-finding and resolution, managing user access. Support others using systems – e.g. designing and delivering training, and producing user guides. Maintain confidentiality of data and departmental security at all times. Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and safe working practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and verify accuracy of work with an ability to organize and prioritize workload combined with a sense of urgency. Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in the carrying out of their role. This covers data such as absence, turnover, grades, and evaluation/salary/bonus figures. Ensure provisions of the Data Protection Act are followed. Essential Requirements Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Proven track record working in a HR administration role - exposure and involvement in implementing a HR Information System a distinct advantage. Previous data entry administration and data validation experience. Competent in Microsoft word and Outlook. Highly organised structured approach to work, strong self-discipline with an ability to meet tight deadlines, to multi–task and prioritise in a fast paced environment. Delivering on time, managing expectations, ability to take instruction. Ability to work on own initiative and act independently whilst being able to work successfully as part of a team.High level of discretion, conscientious, confident, approachable and acts with integrity. Demonstrate speed, agility, time management, attention to detail, execution & “can do” attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken English. Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (C.I.P.D) or HR Degree.
