Job Summary. Swimming Instructor. The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is currently recruiting for a qualified part time Swim Instructor to work as part of the Leisure club team. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for all swimming lessons for Sheraton Fitness. Responsibilities will include: Promotion and Marketing of Sheraton Fitness. Relationship Management. Retention and growth of membership. Promotion of a safe and healthy work environment. The swim instructor is responsible for the instruction and development of all participants. Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons. Submits completed report cards, skills sheets and attendance information on time. Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of members/participants in the event of emergency. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service. Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled. All other duties as assigned and appropriate. Qualifications and Skills. Level II Swim Teacher qualifications required. Previous experience working as a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher is essential. Be able to demonstrate a good track record to date. Must be fluent in both oral and written English. Flexible in relation to your hours/days of work. Please note that only applicants with a minimum of 1 years experience in a Hotel gym will be considered for interview. Benefits.
