Lab Manager Inhalation. As a core member of theInhalation team you will be part of a diverse international team for a global contract research organization in their state of the art manufacturing facility based in Central Ireland. As a Laboratory Manager you will supervise and assist team leaders and scientists in laboratory operations with tasks such as scheduling, resource management, technical and compliance related issues. Additionally, you will plan, direct and implement improvements in systems, processes and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity and quality in the laboratory. A typical day might include the following: Liaise with clients and business development to strategically grow the Inhalations group. This will include providing considerable input into the pricing of large complex proposals, and being the first point of contact for Inhalation clients and being be able to build and maintain client relationships and identify new areas for business. Prepare and update revenue projection reports and evaluate resource utilisation and project profitability. Ensure delivery of technical programs on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards. Review data for technical quality and compliance to protocols, methods and SOPs; review and approve laboratory investigations, deviations, QA facility and data audits; Lead client and regulatory audits. Review and approve study protocols, project status reports, final study reports and other project-related technical documents. Close collaboration with the wider management team in strategic planning, budgeting, new capabilities development and other responsibilities. This job might be for you if: You have management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or analytical contract laboratory industries. You have a strong knowledge and experience with inhalation products such as Pressurized Metered Dose Inhalers, (pMDI), Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI), Aqueous Nasal Sprays, Nebulizers and Nebulizer solutions, preferably from Phase 1 through to commercialisation. You have a full understanding of cGMP requirements, client SOPs, ICH guidelines, EP and USP requirements and EMEA and FDA guidance's. You are experienced in Stability/QC/analytical R&D/project and program management.
