The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is now recruiting for Waiting Staff.

Opportunities exist in our La Provence Restaurant and Sheraton Bar for waiting staff and bar tenders so if you have previous experience in a similar role and you would like to join a dynamic, and fun team then this might be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• To maximise guest satisfaction by ensuring the smooth and efficient service to our guests
• To ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests
• To ensure that guests are warmly welcomed and informed of all the options available to them.
• To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer, wine list, etc).
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation
• Keep abreast of all relevant guest requests work closely with the team to adapt service as appropriate
• Ensure organisation and set up of the bar for service
• Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed without exception
• Fluent level of spoken English is required along with excellent communication skills.

• Have a strong level of Restaurant experience, preferably at 4 star level
• Have a friendly, professional and outgoing personality
• Must be well organised and be able to manage busy service periods.
• Fluent level of English
• EU citizenship/work permit
• Working schedule is from Monday – Sunday along with a variety of shifts available, however, due to nature of our business, flexibility is required.
