What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Senior Structural CAD Technician for a leading Construction company to be based in Co. Offaly. As the Structural CAD Technician you will work on a wide range of challenging projects. This is a permanent position. You will have excellent opportunities for career progression in a company that is currently expanding rapidly and is working on large scale construction projects. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependent on experience. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Responsible for preparing accurate and detailed drawings, schedules and specifications. Quality control for the production of CAD Drawings. Liaise with contractors and clients as required. What are we looking for? Desirable: Mechanical/Civil/ Structural Engineering Degree or Diploma qualification or equivalent. 2-3 years’ experience in an engineering office environment and strong AutoCAD experience. Experience in a commercial and residential sector would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Exposure to precast concrete and BIM experience would beneficial.
