Project Engineer. Location: Westmeath. Role Type: Permanent. Sector: Automation Engineering. My client is involved in the customised design and manufacture of automation materials handling and conveyance systems. Due to continued growth and expansion they are now seeking to hire a project engineer to work in conjunction with all the areas of the business to ensure that projects are delivered within scope and on time. This role would suit someone that has a few years experience post qualification or an astute mechanical engineer that would like to take a step into project engineering. The project engineer will act as the primary point of contact for all things technical with the customer. A project engineer's responsibilities include schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project. You will assure the accuracy of financial forecasts, which tie-in to project schedules. You will ensure projects are completed according to project plans. With this role you will be working with a company that is involved with some cutting edge technology, travel within Ireland will be required as will some overseas but this is very limited.
