What you need to know. You will work as a Manufacturing/ Process Technician and will work for our Medical Device client. Our client is based in Co. Galway and the position is commutable from Athlone. You will be responsible for the performing a variety of technical and support roles in the production/manufacturing department. Key duties & responsibilities: Ensure all processes and equipment are setup and ready for production. Provide support to production, drive improvement in operation performance. Ensure high levels of regulatory conformance. Monitor production outputs and downtime. Technical support process validation activities. Effectively trouble shoot issues and implement solutions. Work as a member of the core team to manage line performance, trouble shooting and resolving technical issues as fast as possible, minimize downtime and ensure continuous flow. What are we looking for? Desirable: Educated to Trade level or ideally Engineering qualification or equivalent. 2-3 years’ experience ideally within medical devices. Experience and technical understanding of set up and maintenance of manufacturing processes, equipment design, validation and lean manufacturing. Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Team player who works well in a small team environment. Good interpersonal skills communicating with technicians and engineers in other departments.
